Hello dear D4CR community, we are super excited to share with you that:
Our next global event - Talkoot 2019 - will take place on January 25-27th 2019!!!
In Talkoot 2019 we aim to extend our existing Design Guide with business design, and explore how we could together make the D4CR guidelines valuable and even critical for business perspective and needs.
During the event, we will explore solutions for business models and practices that will respect and support children’s rights, as well as further ideate methods for implementing the guidelines into organisational and product development processes.
Join us for a weekend-long event of inspiration, discussion and hands-on work, for a better future for children!

A sneak-peak into the many great things done by our community in last few months:
- We have registered as a non-profit association in Denmark in May 2018 (Yeeey!) with the official name: “Designing for Children’s Rights (D4CR) – Association”. The updated the association webpage: http://designingforchildrensrights.org
- We have continued to develop the D4CR Guide in collaboration with UNICEF and in the awesome Methods remote working group.
- Our community has shared the D4CR guide within multiple companies, educational institutions, conference audiences all around the world (e.g. we hosted a workshop in MyData conference and shared our principles in "The Conference" and finally, got included in a book on designing for kids coming out soon).
- This September we had a wonderful meetup in Copenhagen where we planned the Talkoot 2019, and it looked like this:
